Not many people today are eating healthy and getting the right nutrients. Today many foods are processed and are scientifically altered. When foods are processed and altered you are taking protein, fat, and carbohydrates away from the food. This in turn gives chronic malnutrition to the consumer because of the processed food. Most real foods consist of a blend of protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Not all processed food is bad, only the foods that are almost 40 percent processed and more. The easiest way to improve your nutrition is by buying real food, not processed from your local grocery store. Another way to improve your health is to eat fewer foods like high-fructose corn syrup, saturated fat, or even salt. Virtually all foods undergo some form of processing before they are eaten.




Vitamins and minerals serve as a very important part of your body, with out you’re you wouldn’t be able to survive for very long. Vitamins and Minerals have a very important role in nutrition. Vitamins are organic substances found in tiny amounts in almost every food. Vitamins are needed for carrying out important functions of the body. Many Vitamins are involved in the utilization of major nutrients like proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Even though they are needed in such small quantities they are essential for a good, strong, healthy body.Mineral nutrients serve as the structural parts of your skeletal system, blood proteins, enzymes, and certain hormones and vitamins. Your body uses minerals to produce energy. As you can see Vitamins and Minerals are essential in every day life, and for health. With out Vitamins and Minerals your body wouldn’t be able to function.



There are many different Vitamins and Minerals. Some very important Vitamins are: Vitamin A, Vitamin B Vitamin C Vitamin D Vitamin E Vitamin K Vitamin B-2 Vitamin B-3 Vitamin B-6 Vitamin B-6 Vitamin B-12.



Another part of Nutrition is eating healthy. Not many people eat healthy. We eat fat, and sugar filled foods. We don’t stop and eat. We are usually on the go and eating foods from McDonalds, or Burger King. If you’ve ever stopped and thought about what was in those things you would get sick. What we need to do to eat healthy, is that we should follow the food pyramid. The food pyramid says that you should eat a lot of whole grains, a lot of vegetables and fruits, a lot of dairy products, a lot of meats, and a little bit of sugars and snacks. If you follow the guidelines of the Food Pyramid you should get the right nutrients and your diet should become healthier.

Physical inactivity and malnutrition are two main risks. Malnutrition is the lack of nutrients Malnutrition is a general term given for an improper or insufficient diet. It most often refers to undernutrition resulting from poor absorption, or excessive loss of nutrients. Physicla Inactivity is an inactive lifestyle. Physical Activity can lessen the chance of getting many deaseses and health problems.

It most often refers to undernutrition resulting from the loss of excessive nutrients. Many people all around the world don’t get the right amount of nutrition. They are at risk of getting diseases, and sicknesses. When you are malnurised your body can’t fight back the diseases and germs that are attacking your body.

Another risk is Physical Inactivity. Physical inactivity is an inactive lifestyle. It is a risk factor for coronary heart disease. Your also at risk of getting heart and blood vessel disease. The more you are active the greater the benefits. Exercise can help control blood cholesterol,obesity, and diabetes, it can also lower your blood pressure. There are so many advantages to being physically active and living a healthier lifestyle. People who do regular exercise can reduce their risks of diseases related to inactivity by about a quarter.



When you are physically inactive you have a greater chance of developing many diseases and health problems. When you are physically inactive you have a greater chance of developing high blood preasure. If you are physically inactive you have a greater chance of developing a heart disease such as a stroke. You also run the risk of getting a cardiovascular disease. You could also catch coronary heart disease.



Physical inactivity is almost as high of a risk factor as smoking, high blood preasure. In risk factor it is second to smoking. Physical Inactivity is the cause of thousands and thousands of deaths per year. When your inactive you have twice the risk of getting colon cancer, diabetes, worse mental health, cancer, overweight and obeasity, and more injuries and accidents.

Being Physically Active



Being Physically Active can improve your health. Being active strengthens your heart, and lungs. Biing active also can reduse stress. When your active you maintain a healthy body, and improve it can improve your mental health. Inactivity is the cause of premature death, and disability. Being active is essential for healthy growth, and when your active you have less fatiuge. You can maintain your strength and flexibility by being active. Activity can prevent disease such as osteoporosis. Doing sports and activities can increase your health.



You can also be physically active through sports and activities such as:



  • Biking

  • Hiking/ taking a walk

  • Swimming

  • Working out

  • Canoeing

  • Canoeing

Taking time each day is important to become physically active is important. Many people say: “I don’t have the time to be active”. What you should do is take the time, and take care of yourself. When you set time aside to become active you will get many benefits. You will feel stronger, and more energetic. Your mental and physical health will improve, and you won’t have as much stress. Take the time, it won’t kill you to be physically active. Don’t throw off all that time and do nothing take care of your body, it’s important.
